Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) is a private joint stock company that is fully owned by Mubadala, the investment arm of the Government of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Mubadala’s commercial strategy is fundamentally built on long-term, capital-intensive investments that deliver strong financial returns.
Since being incorporated in 2007, Yahsat have implemented extensive research and consultation with customers to design the region’s first multi-purpose satellite system consisting of two satellites and related ground infrastructure.

 

 

Its first-hand understanding of the specific market requirements in the region has enabled the operator to develop customized satellite solutions for the government as well as the commercial sector in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Central and South West Asia.
Yahsat’s cost-effective satellite service, YahClick, will overcome above the limitations of existing terrestrial and satellite systems.

 

 

With YahClick, after the launch of the second satellite, Yahsat 1B, the customers will benefit from uninterrupted high-speed internet usage. Yahsat 1B uses state of the art Ka-band multi spot-beam technology, achieving cost-effective bandwidth supply.
Their coverage connects more than 27 countries across these 3 regions in the world. Yahsat is uniquely positioned as the first fixed satellite operator from the UAE, tuned in to the needs of the region.
