IEC Telecom to participate in ‘Enabling Through Connectivity’ Forum to discuss humanitarian missions’ satellite solutions along with Yahsat

2 May, 2018

Dubai, UAE – IEC Telecom will take part in the ‘Enabling Through Connectivity’ Forum at the Four Seasons Hotel on May 2nd at Amman in Jordan. The event will be organised by Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) to initiate discussions on how to optimise humanitarian emergency response during times of crises and foster socio-economic growth in the developing countries in collaboration with the private sector.

At the event, Nabil Ben Soussia, Managing Director of IEC Telecom Middle East will give a presentation to share the company’s experience in delivering joint projects with Yahsat for UN and other humanitarian organisations.

During the one-day forum participants will also learn more about the end-to-end solutions in the fields of e-education, e-health, and community Internet access – enabled by satellite connectivity.

Such events are very important for the professional community as they help enhance the international humanitarian support ecosystem and enable effective management of crises. Organizations like UN need to have reliable and readily available means of communication in order to stay connected with their teams 24/7 and regardless of their location, empowering the front-line staff to help generate the right first response to tackle any emergency crisis.
