Yahsat has recently announced a services’ expansion of the KA Band satellite Y1B with the implementation of the latest Hughes JUPITER system.
“The demand for more services and higher performance is growing in all markets,” said Marcus Vilaca, chief technical officer at Yahsat. “Maximizing bandwidth is a high priority across all of our segments as it provides cost-effective solutions to our service partners and end-users. The JUPITER System gives us the highest level of bandwidth efficiency on the market today.”
This new system will also power services over the new HTS satellite Al Ya 3, and enable Yahsat’s partners to gain more capabilities such as Virtual Network Operator (VNO) services.
