The 13th Africa Security Symposium (ASEC 2026), Africa’s leading platform for defence, security, and regional cooperation, is going to be held from 7 to 9 July in Accra, Ghana. The event is held in cooperation with the African Union Commission’s Political Affairs, Peace & Security Department. It will bring together over 350 senior delegates, including defence ministries, military chiefs, intelligence agencies, UN bodies, and industry leaders, to address peace and security challenges across Africa.
The theme for ASEC 2026 is “Strengthening African Security Through Innovation and Inclusion.” It is aimed at shedding light on the strategic, operational, and emerging challenges shaping security across Africa through panel discussions, keynote addresses, and public-private matchmaking sessions.
IEC Telecom will participate in ASEC 2026 in collaboration with Cobham, jointly showcasing resilient, mission-ready communication solutions designed for defence, tactical, and critical operations environments.
