IEC Telecom is pleased to announce becoming a member of the International Ship Engineering Service Association (I.S.E.S.), a globally recognised network of specialised service providers dedicated to the merchant marine and offshore industries.

Founded in 1963, I.S.E.S. brings together carefully selected member companies offering electrical, mechanical, electronic, and specialised services across all major ports worldwide. Membership reflects a shared commitment to quality, expertise, and the highest standards of service delivery to the maritime sector.

As a new member, IEC Telecom brings over three decades of satellite communications experience and a truly global footprint to the association. With branch offices across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia, and port services coverage spanning Norway, Sweden, France, Turkey, the UAE, Singapore, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, we are well positioned to support vessel operators and maritime stakeholders wherever they operate.

Our contribution to the association will centre on managed connectivity solutions, delivering hybrid, multi-orbit satellite communications that enhance operational efficiency, support crew welfare, and strengthen cybersecurity across maritime operations. As the industry continues its digital transformation, reliable and intelligently managed connectivity is becoming a cornerstone of modern vessel operations. We at IEC Telecom are committed to driving that progress forward in collaboration with I.S.E.S. members.

“Joining I.S.E.S. is a natural step as we continue to deepen our engagement with the global maritime community. We look forward to contributing our expertise in managed satellite connectivity and working alongside fellow members to deliver tangible value to ship owners, operators, and the wider industry.”

Alf Stian Mauritz, Group CSO | President Nordics, IEC Telecom Group

We look forward to a productive and long-standing membership within the I.S.E.S. community.
