IEC Telecom Shortlisted for Crew Connect Global Awards 2026

C Telecom Group has achieved a significant milestone after being named a finalist for the Crew Connect Global Awards 2026 in the Innovation and Technology Award category. 

The nomination recognises our Voucher Management System, developed to make crew connectivity easier to manage without compromising on welfare. 

Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on 21 October, held as part of Crew Connect Global 2026 in Manila. The shortlist places IEC Telecom among a group of finalists recognised for advancing digitalisation across the maritime crewing industry. 

Providing high-speed internet to seafarers is essential for crew retention and wellbeing, yet offering unmanaged onboard access creates critical cybersecurity risks and bandwidth congestion. We developed the IEC Voucher Management System as a centralised, policy-driven solution designed specifically for hybrid connectivity environments. Integrated into our proprietary OptiView platform, the system features the IEC Voucher Manager for shore-side policy and usage control, IEC Social, a captive portal for seafarers to manage allowances or purchase top-ups, and built-in network segregation to isolate personal devices from critical vessel operations.  

IEC Telecom will also exhibit at Crew Connect Global 2026, with our team presenting the Voucher Management System alongside OptiView and the Starlink Maritime portfolio at Stand 3.
