IEC Telecom to Attend Forsvarskonferansen 2026 with Emergency Communication Solutions

On 22–23 September 2026, Scandic Hell in Stjørdal, Norway, will host Forsvarskonferansen, the Nordic Defence and Security Conference 2026. Organised by NORDSEC Nordic Defence and Security Cluster, the event brings together defence leaders, policymakers, academia and industry to discuss the challenges shaping Nordic preparedness and resilience.

The conference comes at a time when Norway and its Nordic neighbours are increasing investment in defence and total defence. Strong industrial capacity, new technology and cross-sector collaboration are key to this effort, with reliable communications supporting operations across all areas.

IEC Telecom will attend Forsvarskonferansen 2026 to discuss how satellite communications can support defence, emergency preparedness and total defence operations. Three of our solutions will take centre stage:

RDK 2.0: IEC Telecom’s SATCOM-powered Rapid Deployment Kit is a carry-on, battery-autonomous unit powered by Starlink Mini. It supports up to 128 devices and includes full OptiView integration for remote management in the field.
