Aligned with the creation of an internationally renowned center for crisis management in Cyprus, CMC Ltd. and Pompiers de l’Urgence Internationale (PUI, International Emergency Firefighters) have organised an intensive event to delve into cutting-edge search and rescue solutions as well as measures to adequately respond to natural disasters. Taking place at the CyprusExpo Congress Center in Nicosia, Cyprus on June 27th, 2024, IEC Telecom Group has been invited to showcase its unique PTT Traksat system.
Mathieu Alexandre (Account Manager – Humanitarian Sector) and Amadou Diallo (Sales Engineer) will lead a training session, demonstrating the strategic importance of establishing a communication system for a rescue mission. With extensive experience in delivering satellite-based communication solutions to geographically diverse sites, IEC Telecom will focus on both small deployments between field teams and HQ that use existing VHF radios, cellular networks, and satcom services for PTT communications as well as comprehensive satcom solutions alongside the BGAN 710 (with rechargeable batteries), BGAN 720 and 510 devices. The session will also discuss the need for business continuity in remote areas without electricity and how satcom solutions and the PTT Traksat service support rescue missions in such areas.
