IEC Telecom to Showcase Managed Connectivity Solutions for Broadcasters at CABSAT 2026

This year, CABSAT is being held from 5 to 7 October at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. Now in its 33rd edition, CABSAT is the leading platform for media, broadcast and Pro AV technology across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, bringing together broadcasters, content creators, satellite operators and technology providers from across the region. For an industry where breaking news rarely happens on schedule or in a fixed location, the event has become a key meeting point for the connectivity solutions that keep broadcasters on air.

Our team onsite will present our managed connectivity portfolio for broadcasters, built around the IEC Media Kit: a portable, rapid-deployment solution for news gathering on the move, keeping news teams connected and transmitting wherever the story takes them. It pairs satellite-based connectivity with a broadcast encoder, battery backup and optional L-band voice redundancy, letting field reporters and camera crews deploy and go live within minutes. The goal is to remove the connectivity barrier so mobility never comes at the cost of reliability.

Our wider portfolio covers studio backup and centralised bandwidth management across multiple sites, keeping broadcasters connected from the field to the newsroom. All deployments are backed by on-demand activation, remote monitoring via our OptiView platform, and 24/7 technical support.
