From 29 to 31 March, IEC Telecom will make its way to the Arctic Circle for the 11th edition of LofotFishing, Northern Norway’s International Fisheries Exhibition. As Norway sees a growth in fishing vessels in the 10-11 meters range as well as those smaller than 10 meters, IEC Telecom has geared up to present especially designed flexible leasing agreements for the Iridium Certus and Telenor Thor7/Anker. These services operate in the area between GSM and satellite and also work for larger vessels that do not operate around the year. Now, a regional VSAT is more accessible, affordable, and adaptable to the needs of Norway’s significant fishing community.
Besides the Iridium Certus and Telenor Thor7, IEC Telecom will also offer GMDSS approved equipment from ACD and OceanSignal as well as high quality Shakespeare antennas that are designed specifically for the maritime market.
